Adapting to Our Right Now – Assimilating to Change
Ivette Mayo
How we adapt to change is critical to our personal and professional growth. Assimilation is the cognitive process of making new information fit in with your existing understanding of the world. Essentially, when you encounter something new, you
process and make sense of it by relating it to things that you already know. In the era of COVID19, adapting and moving forward has become a constant that we are having to grasp and overcome. How do you keep up and stay engaged?
During our
session together, we will cover:
- How to take in new information or experiences and incorporate them into our existing ideas.
- Taking steps to make both small and large adjustments that make sense.
- Staying motivated and inspired to embrace the new norms
Executive Presence in a Virtual Setting
Catenya McHenry
90% of our language is non-verbal but our virtual configurations have made it more challenging to communicate effectively. Messages that you send and communicate with your face,
your gestures, your body language, and your level of confidence speaks volumes long before you actually speak any words. In this session, Executive Presence in a Virtual Setting, we’ll talk about the importance of not only how to look like an executive
but how to create an image, virtually, that will speak just as strong and confident as you do.
Committed Influence
Michael Landers
In this engaging and impactful session, you will quickly discover the nine types of influencing styles, how and when to use them and the benefits and consequences of each. You
will explore and determine your personal and organization’s preferred style and the difference between influencing for resistance, for compliance or for commitment. This session is for those looking to influence with more positivity in personal/professional
relationships.
