Prospanica, which exists “to empower Hispanic business professionals to achieve their full educational, economic, and social potential,” has established a scholarship program to assist qualified Hispanics to pursue graduate and undergraduate degrees in business. Scholarships are offered for full-time and part-time study at an AACSB accredited institution of the student’s choice. Eligibility Applicants to the Prospanica Scholarship Program must:

Start by clicking on the Begin Application link at the bottom of this page. During the application process, you will be able to save your application and leave the site. In order to return, you must login again to your Prospanica membership account. The application must be submitted electronically by 11:59 p.m. EST on November 11, 2017.
Carefully review your application before submission. We recommend that you print a hard copy of your application for your records. All application pages with required fields must be completed in the format described in order to submit the application. Once the application is submitted, no further revisions can be made. Supporting DocumentsTo complete your application you must also provide following documents to Prospanica through the application form. If email is preferred, the documents should be sent no later than November 11, 2017 to NewYork.Secretary@prospanica.org.

You, the applicant, are responsible for gathering and submitting all required information. Applications are evaluated on the information supplied; answer all questions as completely as possible. Your application is considered confidential and is reviewed only by Prospanica. Community Leadership EssaysYou will need to select two of the following topics: Describe any extracurricular activity and/or any community service project you have participated as an activist or leader within the past 2 years. Tell us how it has made a difference in your community. (max. 200 words) Describe your short and long-term career plans. How does the Prospanica NY’s Scholarship support your career trajectory? (max. 200 words) A stated mission of Prospanica NY is to “empower Hispanic business professionals to achieve their full educational, economic and social potential.” What role have you played in supporting Prospanica NY’s mission? (max. 200 words) Elaborate on an instance in your educational or professional career when you exhibited leadership. (max. 200 words) Selection of Recipients
Scholarship recipients are selected on the basis of academic achievement, work experience, personal statement of goals and aspirations, Prospanica participation, community service, recommendations, and a Prospanica essay. Payment of ScholarshipsPayments are made in late 2017. Checks will be mailed and made payable to the school. ObligationsRecipients are required to notify Prospanica of any change in address, school enrollment, or other relevant information. RevisionsProspanica reserves the right to review the conditions and procedures of this scholarship program and to make changes at any time, including termination of the program.Questions?
