Prospanica San Diego's mission is to empower and enable Hispanic MBAs and business professionals to achieve their full educational, economic, and social potential.
Prospanica is a non-profit organization dedicated to empowering the Hispanic community through education, professional development, and leadership advancement. Founded in 1988 as the National Society of Hispanic MBAs (NSHMBA), the organization rebranded to Prospanica in 2016 to reflect a broader mission—supporting not only Hispanic MBA and business students but also advancing Hispanic leadership across all industries.
With a nationwide reach of over 80,000+ and more than 1,600 active members, Prospanica operates 57 chapters, including 27 with active boards and events fueling local engagement and growth. Through mentorship, networking, and advocacy, Prospanica continues to elevate the next generation of Hispanic business leaders across the U.S. and Puerto Rico.
