Bacilia is an award-winning first-generation immigrant Latina, founder and CEO of Meliora Advisors, entrepreneur, engineer, DEI advocate, proponent of women and immigrant rights, STEM enthusiast, and a Winning Mindset coach.

Bacilia’s biggest strength is that she can create a vision for an organization that solves their problems, creates growth, inspires people, and drives sustainable change. Her mission is to help organizations transform to be people first by being more inclusive and equitable internally and in the community to make the world a better place.

She is an experienced transformation leader with a demonstrated history of working in government, healthcare, and information technology service industries with a focus on making improvements for people from underserved communities. Skilled in Process Engineering, Data Analytics, Performance Management, Coaching, Lean Six Sigma, Program and Project Management, Innovation, Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion. Consistently sought out for large complex problems requiring strong strategic and
transformational leadership skills to start up or move an organization towards improvement. She leads with authenticity and boldness.

Bacilia has previously served on the following boards: Society for Hispanic Professional Engineers (SHPE) for the DC area; Latinas in Tech DC Metro Board; Mujeres de HACE and the Bill Anderson Fund Advisory Board. She has received the Women of Color Award, Prospanica’s 40 under 40 Award, 3 of MITRE’s highest achievement - Program Recognition Awards for programs she has led and many more.

When she is not working, she enjoys travelling and spending time with family.
